Parkies Babies Swim program consists of four progressive levels that begin with you and your child gaining comfort in the water, your child learning to hold their breath underwater, swimming to the wall for safety, and progressing to swimming on their own. The last level serves as a transition for the swimmer to move from swimming with a caregiver present to a class setting with only the instructor in order to prepare for Parkies Swim School. Each non-potty-trained swimmer must have a swim diaper and a lined swim suit per Illinois State Health Code. Every swim participant must be accompanied by one caregiver at least 18 year old.
