Jazz dance utilizes the technique of ballet with a stylized and contemporary approach. Dance fundamentals are developed and mastered in the Jazz I class, and these basic techniques are applied to more difficult work and combinations in higher levels, accordingly. *previous ballet, jazz or lyrical dance experience recommended.
Attire:
Girls - leotard (optional skirt) and tights OR fitted shirt and shorts/leggings, nude jazz shoes
Boys -fitted shirt, shorts, black jazz shoes
