Does your child love to perform? This is the class to sign up for! Actors will rehearse and perform their own production of Frozen KIDS. They will explore characters, theater vocabulary, voice and movement. This is a great class for the beginning actors as well as the experienced actors who want to build performance skills and confidence on stage. Actors will receive a script and show t-shirt included in registration costs. Come see what the BPD Theater Company is all about!
Theatre show summary: Frozen KIDS tells the story of Princesses Anna and Elsa in the kingdom of Arendelle. When Elsa’s magical powers plunge the kingdom into an eternal winter, Anna embarks on a journey with a snowman named Olaf, an ice harvester named Kristoff, and Kristoff’s reindeer Sven to find her sister. The story explores themes of sisterhood, acceptance, and the power of “true love”.
*Auditions will take place in class on January 8th. Audition materials will be emailed out to participants 1 week prior to the first class.
*Participants will have an additional rehearsal 5:00-6:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month beginning in February. Rehearsal Dates: February 4, March 4, April 8, May 6.
*Dress Rehearsals will take place May 11-15 and Performances will occur May 15-17

Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills. Children who are new to gymnastics should enroll in a Developmental I class. Students who have taken gymnastics should enroll in the class level instructed by their coach on their class recommendation sheet. Children may be asked to transfer to the appropriate level class.

Suggested Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable pants/shorts. No jeans, jean shorts, or any other type of clothing with buttons or buckles which could be harmful to your child or the equipment. Students will learn self-defense as well as improving each student’s self-confidence, discipline, coordination, physical and mental capabilities. Instructed by Grandmaster H. Thomas Cameron, a 9th degree black belt with 50 years of experience. Testing fee is $75 and includes the belt and materials. Please wear athletic clothes, no jeans.
