Board of Commissioners
Bolingbrook Park District is privileged to create the fun for the community of Bolingbrook. The heart of district begins with our Board of Commissioners.
Residents of Bolingbrook elect a non-partisan, five-member Board of Commissioners to govern the District. These individuals volunteer their time to serve on the board. The Park Board determines the priorities and defines policies for financing, governing, operation and administration of the District.
“Years ago I was involved with T-Ball. I loved working there and seeing the families having fun. I decided to become a commissioner to continue giving back to the community and to see the happy faces of people enjoying the services we provide.”
“I was encouraged by Bolingbrook Tee Ball to run for a Board position. We were seeking simple field improvements and were not making progress. My mission was to ensure all youth sports groups were provided quality facilities for their programs. Little did I know about the overall complexity of operating the Bolingbrook Park District.”
“I chose to serve the Bolingbrook Park District to represent our diverse community with a focus on maintaining fiscal responsibility, promoting lesser known programs and resources, and to maintain the high satisfaction rating from our staff and community.”
