Join the Bolingbrook NFL Youth Flag Football League, a fast-paced and fun program designed to teach kids the fundamentals of football in a safe, non-contact environment. Players will build skills, teamwork, discipline, and confidence while having fun on the field. Games will be on Saturdays beginning September 12. Game times will be between 9:00am- 1:00pm. Team jerseys, shorts, and flag belts will be provided. Volunteer coaches are appreciated!

Ages 18 years & up
Both competitive and recreational leagues for volleyball players of all skill levels. Enjoy friendly competition, exercise and a night of socializing with your team. Each league will play a 12-game season and conclude with a single elimination playoff. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top teams. For more information, please contact (630) 783-6533. Illinois Shotokan Karate Club is Chicagolands premier karate school taught under the instruction of John DiPasquale. Young children develop confidence, strength, and coordination skills through fun and creative classes. This program is specifically designed for growing minds and bodies to enhance memory and agility. Watch your childs confidence blossom while learning karate and having a blast at the same time! Uniforms, equipment and belt testing are optional for an additional fee through the class instructor. YP
ISKC’s karate classes offers a good mix of strength training with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Students increase their coordination, agility and poise, as well as learn lasting personal safety skills. They also benefit from the mental stimulation of learning the choreographed moves of the kata and discipline of conforming to the class rules. Uniforms, equipment and belt testing are optional for an additional fee through the class instructor. Youth and Adult classes train together. Fees are per person.
In this class, students will gain confidence and develop theatre skills. Students will learn a broad range of Theatre skills including acting, singing, improv and character development in this 10 week class. Students will have a chance to connect, socialize and create with others as they explore and learn about Theatre.

Be a part of the “Outstanding Program of the Year” awarded by the Illinois Park and Recreation Association! Power Dance takes place right after school. Never danced before? No problem! Does your child love to perform? This is the class to sign up for! Actors will rehearse and perform their own production of Alice in Christmas Land. They will explore characters, theater vocabulary, voice and movement. This is a great class for the beginning actors as well as the experienced actors who want to build performance skills and confidence on stage. Actors will receive a script and show t-shirt included in registration costs. Come see what the BPD Theater Company is all about!
Show Summary: Everyone is getting ready for Christmas; the Mad Hatter has a silly tree decorating party and the Cheshire Cat can’t understand why her stripes are green and red. Without an ounce of holiday spirit, the Queen of Hearts says: “Off with their heads!” But Alice knows the heart is most important symbol of all. And what is Christmas and Holiday spirit all about anyway? Love and kindness. At last, Alice convinces the Queen that if she uses her heart, she will be the greatest Queen of all!

In this five week session, learn and practice the basic techniques of one of the most popular dances, Chicago Style Stepping. Basic steps and combinations, floor etiquette, turns and partnering will be covered in this 2-hour class. This is the perfect way to get ready for those high school reunions and weddings or simply build your confidence on the dance floor. Best of all it’s a chance to just enjoy a fun time with others.
Students will learn self-defense as well as improving each student’s self-confidence, discipline, coordination, physical and mental capabilities. Instructed by Grandmaster H. Ages 16 months-4 years
Little Learners classes provide children with opportunities to socialize, overcome separation anxiety and be creative all while enjoying their first classroom experience. Time together begins with open play followed by clean-up and ending with a group activity time. Children will interact with age-appropriate toys, have sensory encounters, create both process and product-based art and participate in music/movement activities. The curriculum is based on the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for Children Birth to Age Three.
Parent Notes:
* Please dress your child in play clothes.
* Children do not have to be toilet trained for these classes.
* We request that you remain in the building during class time.
* To allow for enjoyment for all attendees, please leave older siblings at home.
* Little Learners 1 is with adult.

Beginner classes are designed for participants with minimal to no formal swimming experience, or who may be working to overcome a fear of the water. Classes will focus on building up your confidence and comfort in the water while practicing water safety skills. These skills include air exchange/breathing, floating, treading, and the foundations of the strokes.
Intermediate classes are designed for participants who are comfortable in the water and have experience with the foundational swimming skills (air exchange, floating, kicking, streamline). Classes will focus on the strokes, improving your technique and endurance.
The exciting world of gymnastics: where energy will be transformed into tons of fun on vault, bars, beam and floor. Confidence is a major focus in our classes, as we guide each child to achieve their greatest individual potential. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. We offer a safe, fun, clean atmosphere with complete viewing for our parents. Preschool One is for children who are new to gymnastics and is commonly repeated. Preschool Two classes are recommended by an instructor. Please make sure that children are potty trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills. Children who are new to gymnastics should enroll in a Developmental I class. Former students should enroll in the class level instructed by their coach on their class recommendation sheet. Participants may be asked to transfer to the appropriate level class.
Suggested Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable pants/shorts. No jeans, jean shorts, or any other type of clothing with buttons or buckles which could be harmful to your child or the equipment. We require long hair to be tied back and out of face. No shoes, earrings, bracelets or necklaces are allowed. Socks are optional, but not recommended for medium/high beam.

This class will be a transition from the developmental program to team gymnastics. The gymnasts will learn AAU level 1 and 2 skills as they develop strength, flexibility, team spirit and sportsmanship. Invitation to Pre-Team is required.
This class offers the best of Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Obstacle Training, and Freestyle Movement combined into a brand new sport. Our focus will be on confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility and creative energy. Each Lil Ninja is required to purchase a uniform package prior to the start of class which includes a t-shirt and headband. Lil Ninjas should wear their uniform consistently once it is received. The uniform can be purchased at www.bolingbrookparks.org/NinjaZone. Uniforms are non-refundable. Please make sure that children are potty-trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
The Bolingbrook Illusions is an award-winning team that competes against other teams in the Midwest. We offer level 2-5 compulsory gymnastics and all levels of Xcel. These teams will follow routines and progressions for vault, uneven bars, beam and floor created by USAG. Competition takes place from January through May as part of the AAU; Gymnastics of Illinois Junior Organization (GIJO). It is a great way to prepare your child for high school gymnastics within the park district or at their high school. Testing is done late Spring and Early Fall and is required in order to enroll as a new member of the team.
Parents are required to attend our annual mandatory meeting. Team leotards, warm ups, grips, meet fees and tape are additional fees beyond class registration.

The Bolingbrook Illusions is an award-winning team that competes against other teams in the Midwest. We offer level 2-5 compulsory gymnastics and all levels of Xcel. These teams will follow routines and progressions for vault, uneven bars, beam and floor created by USAG. Competition takes place from January through May as part of the AAU; Gymnastics of Illinois Junior Organization (GIJO). Advanced Tumbling will provide new challenges for our participants once they have mastered the basics and encourage them to advance beyond intermediate tumbling. Participants will continue to increase strength, flexibility, and body control. Tumbling skills will include round off back handsprings, front handsprings, back tuck, front tucks, and more. Coaches’ recommendations are required.
Preschool Extended Day
Ages 3.5-5 years
Does your child need more preschool time? Extended your child’s day with these programs. Children who fit the age range can participate in multiple programs on the same day. Early Drop Off, Lunch Bunch and Lunch Bunch Plus are exclusively for children enrolled in the Bolingbrook Park District Preschool Program and sessions follow the Preschool 2026-2027 School Calendar.
Parent Notes:
* Children should bring food or snack items and water bottle in an insulated lunch box or bag. Label your child’s food containers and include any utensils or napkins that your child may need. Please send foods that your child can open independently.

Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing, passive practice designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote physical/mental healing by holding gentle, supported poses for 5-20 minutes. Suggested Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable pants/shorts. No jeans, jean shorts, or any other type of clothing with buttons or buckles which could be harmful to your child or the equipment. We require long hair to be tied back and out of face. No shoes, earrings, bracelets or necklaces are allowed. Socks are optional, but not recommended for medium/high beam.
This is a non-competitive, introductory class for younger athletes. This class will teach the cheerleading basics and build confidence, strength, coordination and flexibility. Jumps, hand motions, tumbling, stunting and a cheer will be taught, as well as the importance of teamwork. Clean gym shoes must be worn in this class and hair must be tied back neatly out of face. No jewelry allowed for safety reasons.
Beginning Tumbling is a fast-paced class that develops coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and self-confidence. Beginning Tumbling is for children that are new to tumbling. Good form and positions will be learned at this level. Beginning tumblers will learn the following skills: forward and backward tuck and straddle rolls, lunge to handstand, cartwheel and round offs.

In this five week crochet along we will be exploring several different cable techniques involved in creating the made-to-measure Flowers and Cables Cardigan. Pattern and starter materials will be provided, and all experience levels are welcome. Participants will receive hooks, needles, pattern, some button combination option and yarn. Due to differing styles, sizes and aesthetics, attendees will need to supply some materials for later in the class. After the first class, participants will need to purchase and bring the main body color of the cardigan.
