BRAC Pickleball / Open Play

Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex is available for open pickleball play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:30 am. Please wear gym shoes. Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Nets will be provided with limited supply of paddles and balls.

In this five week course you’ll learn the basic stitches, concepts, and components of crochet and pattern reading. We will go over all the how-tos and whatnots you need to know to wrangle this hobby! We’ll go over chain stitches, single, and half-double crochet stitches; when and how to use magic rings and slipknots; how to decipher pattern abbreviations and yarn wrapper information; and several ways to seam a square. All materials and gadgets will be supplied on the first day of class to use in class. *Disclosure – Instructor cannot guarantee you will walk away with a finished item; everyone learns at their own pace and that’s okay.

ISKC’s karate classes offers a good mix of strength training with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Students increase their coordination, agility and poise, as well as learn lasting personal safety skills. They also benefit from the mental stimulation of learning the choreographed moves of the kata and discipline of conforming to the class rules. Uniforms, equipment and belt testing are optional for an additional fee through the class instructor. Youth and Adult classes train together. Fees are per person.
