From finger-painting for toddlers to creating a fired ceramic masterpiece, Bolingbrook Park District has fun art programs for all ages! We off a variety of programs that use different mediums, so seasoned artists can continue to improve on skills and someone that’s just looking to learn a new skill can jump right in. We offer one-day classes, weekly programs, seasonal-themed classes to beginner workshops.
In this two hour make and take you will crochet your own Market Bag. Written patterns will be provided at the beginning of class and kits will be available with all necessary crochet tools and notions included. Prior crochet experience required.
Ages 14 years &up
Immerse yourself in a creative afternoon crafting your own one-of-a-kind ceramic piece. You’ll experiment with a variety of glazes, learn new techniques, and enjoy a fun, relaxed class environment. All supplies are provided. Your ceramic piece will be fired after class and ready for pick-up the following week at BRAC.

Join Keller Candle Company and the Bolingbrook Park District for an immersive candle-making experience. Guided by an expert chandler, you’ll learn the art of candle crafting from start to finish while creating your own beautifully hand-poured candle. We use high-quality, eco-friendly materials, including non-toxic fragrance oils, wax and reusable vessels designed for life beyond the flame. All supplies are included.
