Guided by an expert chandler, you’ll learn the art of candle crafting from start to finish while creating your own beautifully hand-poured candle. We use high-quality, eco-friendly materials, including non-toxic fragrance oils, wax and reusable vessels designed for life beyond the flame. All supplies are included.

In this five week course you’ll learn the basic stitches, concepts, and components of crochet and pattern reading. We will go over all the how-tos and whatnots you need to know to wrangle this hobby! We’ll go over chain stitches, single, and half-double crochet stitches; when and how to use magic rings and slipknots; how to decipher pattern abbreviations and yarn wrapper information; and several ways to seam a square. All materials and gadgets will be supplied on the first day of class to use in class. *Disclosure – Instructor cannot guarantee you will walk away with a finished item; everyone learns at their own pace and that’s okay.

This beginner-friendly workshop teaches basic hand-sewing skills through the creation of a durable tote bag. Participants will learn to use essential tools, stitch strong seams, and assemble their project step by step in a supportive environment. Those who don’t finish in class will receive guidance to complete their tote at home.
Learning Outcomes:
* Use basic sewing tools safely
* Thread a needle and tie knots
* Sew strong backstitches
* Pin, align, and construct fabric pieces
* Measure and attach sturdy handles
The instructor will provide complete tote bag kits for each participant. Each kit will contain the following items: precut fabric pieces, scrap fabric for stitch practice, polypropylene webbing for handles, thread, hand-sewing needles, sewing tape measure, needle threader, pincushion, pins, a pair of scissors, thimble, seam ripper, fabric marking tool.

In this five week crochet along we will be exploring several different cable techniques involved in creating the made-to-measure Flowers and Cables Cardigan. Pattern and starter materials will be provided, and all experience levels are welcome. Participants will receive hooks, needles, pattern, some button combination option and yarn. Due to differing styles, sizes and aesthetics, attendees will need to supply some materials for later in the class. After the first class, participants will need to purchase and bring the main body color of the cardigan.
