Join Keller Candle Company & the Bolingbrook Park district in learning the art of candle making. Our expert chandler will walk you through the entire process and assist you in creating your own beautiful hand-crafted candle. We use quality ingredients and eco-friendly non-toxic fragrance oils, wax, and vessels that can be re-purposed after your candle is done. All supplies are included.

Reveal your inner artist by joining one or more of these ceramic workshops. Each workshop you will create a ceramic piece on bisque using various techniques and glaze products. Basic instructions will guide you through the project with options on each project. Using your vision and creativity you will customize your design and make it your own. Each workshop piece will be ready for firing that day. The piece will be ready for pickup in approximately a week. Fee will include bisque, color, instructions and firing. Ages 14 years and up
Mandala art originated in India and has since spread around the world, often referred to as dot painting. In this class, participants will learn how to create their own unique mandala design on an 8 x 8 canvas. Everyone is encouraged to develop their own ideas and artistic style.
The first 20 minutes of class will include step-by-step instruction, introducing specific dot-painting tools and techniques to help you create your own masterpiece. All tools and paints are provided, and participants may choose their own color palette. No artistic experience is required.

Guided by an expert chandler, you’ll learn the art of candle crafting from start to finish while creating your own beautifully hand-poured candle. We use high-quality, eco-friendly materials, including non-toxic fragrance oils, wax and reusable vessels designed for life beyond the flame. All supplies are included.

Immerse yourself in a creative afternoon crafting your own one-of-a-kind ceramic piece. You’ll experiment with a variety of glazes, learn new techniques, and enjoy a fun, relaxed class environment. All supplies are provided. Your ceramic piece will be fired after class and ready for pick-up the following week at BRAC.

In this two hour make and take you will crochet your own Market Bag. Written patterns will be provided at the beginning of class and kits will be available with all necessary crochet tools and notions included. Prior crochet experience required.
