Bolingbrook Park District to Host Statewide Event for Recreation Professionals
On Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, the Bolingbrook Park District, along with the support of the Village of Bolingbrook, is hosting an Illinois Parks & Recreation Association event called “Park Pursuit.” This fun and competitive race will draw park and recreation professionals from around the state. The theme of this year’s race is “Get Your Kicks on Route 66” in honor of the 100th anniversary of America’s most famous roadway.

Bolingbrook Park District Welcomes New Board Commissioner Geno Bagnuolo
Bolingbrook Park District is excited to welcome Geno Bagnuolo as the newest member of the Bolingbrook Park District Board of Commissioners. Following a thorough application and interview process that drew strong community interest, Geno was selected from a highly qualified group of candidates to fill the vacancy left by Commissioner Sue Vastalo’s resignation.
