Bolingbrook Park District karate programs are offered through Illinois Shotokan Karate Instructors, under the direction of John DiPasquale, Chief Instructor. Beginner classes (white-red belts) are offered all the way through Advanced (2nd brown-black belts).

This program is specifically designed for growing minds and bodies to enhance memory and agility. Watch your child’s confidence blossom while learning karate and having a blast at the same time! Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs Youth karate classes will put children in touch with their bodies and offers a good mix of strength training. Children increase their coordination, agility and poise, as well as learn lasting personal safety skills. Classes help increase self-esteem, in addition to enhancing discipline and control. Uniforms, equipment and belt testing are optional for an additional fee through the class instructor. Please note that the Youth, Parent/Child and Adult classes may train together.
