Arrange for Santa to make a personal visit to your home and hand out presents that you provide. You will be contacted by one of Santa’s Elves after December 9th for the approximate arrival time. Santa’s Elf will need to confirm how many children he will be seeing and how many presents to pass out. Santa can accommodate a maximum of 10 children per visit.

All ages
Celebrate the longest night of the year with hot chocolate and story time about animals in winter. Be sure to bring a plush-animal friend to snuggle with. Pajamas are encouraged! After story time, participants will make a craft, explore real furs, and learn how animals survive winter.

Learn how to canoe and then practice exploring the pond at BRAC. Fee is per canoe, which can hold 2-3 people each. All participants under 16 must have an adult guardian in their canoe. Life jackets and instruction included, please dress for the weather.

Learn new techniques and tricks to create an elevated jack-o-lantern that lasts longer than traditional methods. Participants will receive guidance, tools to
borrow, and two pie-sized pumpkins to carve. Minors must have a guardian registered and present. This program coincides with Pumpkin Carving for “Little Kids” (page 12).

Ages 7 and up, All Ages*
Bring your old pumpkin to shoot with arrows, then we’ll clean up the mess! Beginner session includes 30 minutes of instruction. All participants will have a chance to win a small raffle prize. Participants must have passed the Beginner Archery class to register for the Intermediate session, or contact for approval. All children must have a guardian present.

All ages

Pajamas encouraged! After story time, participants will make a craft, explore real furs, and learn how animals survive winter. Please contact with dietary restrictions.

Can a kite fly without a tail? What shape of paper airplane will fly the farthest? Why does a soap bubble float? Have fun with three experiments that explore how objects move through the air. One DIY kite is included per registration. All children must have an adult helper present.

Arthropods are creatures with a hard exoskeleton, such as pill-bugs, preying mantids, crayfish and more! Discover all of the arthropod characteristics by viewing live and preserved animals up close. Presentation is appropriate for both children and adults. Space is limited, please register everyone in your group.

Learn the basics and benefits of maintaining your own composting bin, then assemble a finished bin to take home! Each registration includes supplies for one 18-gallon bin. .

Drop the kids off to decorate a small (real) pumpkin during this themed party! No carving required to have a good time. Activities will also include story-time, music and games. This program coincides with the program Pumpkin Carving for “Big
Kids” (page 13).

Ages 7-14 and 15+
Showcase your archery skills in a series of four events. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, the winner for each age bracket will also receive a small trophy. Full tournament details upon registration (or request). All participants must have passed the Beginner Archery class, or contact for instructor approval.

Treat your kids (and yourself) to a fun night out. Kids will enjoy an evening of toy play, arts and crafts, active party games and pizza. Each party will feature a different theme. Children can wear pajamas or play clothes. Cheese pizza and water will be served, please inform key program contact of any food allergies.

Ages 18 months to 5 years with adult (one adult with each child)
Toddlers and Preschoolers, invite a grownup to join you for these fun events.

Ages 3-6 years w/adult
Come and enjoy time with your child creating a gingerbread house, decorating gingerbread cookies and making a gingerbread craft. Each child and parent team will decorate one gingerbread house in class and take it home.

Kids 10 and under can Join Parkie in a 100 yard dash right after Parkie’s 5k race. Super Parkie’s runners will even get a cape to wear on their run!
