STEM Camps

Infusing FUN!
into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math!

Bolingbrook Park District offers fun camps that are geared toward those looking to learn! We have teamed up with organizations like Mad Science and Chasewood Learning to bring camps that will fuel the curiosity in kids using STEM. You could build a Minecraft world, design and build a robot, learn about space, engineering and more!

STEM Camps are offered seasonally throughout the year. If you don’t see any available camps, please check back for the next camp.

200345 / Robotics and SumoBot Camp

Learn about robotics by designing and programming robots to compete in a SumoBot competition. Kids will explore the physics and core concepts of robotics through hand-on building and programming-controlling motors, reading sensors, and testing their designs. Camp activities lead up to an exciting competition at the end of the week. By combining the engineering design process with friendly competition, students will enjoy a full week of fun and learning. Along the way, they’ll build problem-solving skills, learn to work in teams and practice perseverance-skills that are essential in the real world.
