Annerino Community Center is available for open
pickleball play on Wednesday 4:30-7:30p. Please wear gym shoes. Pickleball is a sport that combines
elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
In this five week crochet along we will be exploring several different cable techniques involved in creating the made-to-measure Flowers and Cables Cardigan. Pattern and starter materials will be provided, and all experience levels are welcome. Participants will receive hooks, needles, pattern, some button combination option and yarn. Due to differing styles, sizes and aesthetics, attendees will need to supply some materials for later in the class. After the first class, participants will need to purchase and bring the main body color of the cardigan.
Take an afternoon and create a unique ceramic piece. You will use various glazes and learn new techniques, while enjoying a fun afternoon. All supplies will be furnished. Plate pieces will be fired after class and will be available for pick-up the following week at BRAC.

Bring your doll to as special party just for your child and their doll. Children introduce their dolls; kid play games, create a fun craft and take home a snack.
Arrange for Santa to make a personal visit to your home and hand out presents that you provide. You will be contacted by one of Santa’s Elves after December 9th for the approximate arrival time. Santa’s Elf will need to confirm how many children he will be seeing and how many presents to pass out. Santa can accommodate a maximum of 10 children per visit.
Does your child love Minecraft? Imagine if children learn Civil Engineering and City Planning while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, stores, libraries, schools and more. Minecraft Java Edition is used in the classroom as the tool for hands-on learning. We inspire future Engineers using Minecraft. Students should be familiar with using a computer, mouse and Minecraft.
The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineering concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students move up a level each time they take the class. A basic knowledge of using a computer is recommended.
The Mechanical Engineering Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn and build projects based on mechanical engineering concepts. Models such as a powered cars, cranes, and windmills are examples of engaging and dynamic activities based on the LEGO Education Simple & Powered Machines engineering curriculum.
Microbit is a pocket-sized micro-computer board that introduces you to how software and hardware work together. This small device has an LED light display, buttons, speaker, microphone, sensors and many input/output features that, when programmed, let it interact with you and your world. In this class, students will learn about the hardware features, how to program the Microbit and create projects such as an alarm system, thermometer, compass, sound machine and more. Microbit is a fun and easy way to get started in electrical engineering.

Through exploration of classic literature, inspiring writing exercises, creative language games and collaboration, students will explore different genres, learn and practice grammatical concepts, develop their writing skills, and build confidence in their ability to communicate effectively.
Chess Scholars is our fun-filled professional chess program for children in grades K-8. We work with students of all levels, including complete beginners. During each one-hour class, there is an interactive instructional period of 15-20 minutes, followed by guided practice. Our curriculum is well suited for the needs of young students.

Over the course of three weeks, learn the basics of archery, including parts of the equipment and range, proper stance, and how to aim! Archery improves muscle tone, focus and confidence as we work on hitting the target consistently.
