Enjoy a leisurely hike, themed scavenger hunt, lawn games and early afternoon s’mores to celebrate the special adult in your life. Registration is per family group. Hike is on natural, uneven terrain. Please contact if ADA or dietary accommodations are needed.

Learn how to canoe and then practice exploring the pond at BRAC. Fee is per canoe, which can hold 2-3 people each. All participants under 16 must have an adult guardian in their canoe. Life jackets and instruction included, please dress for the weather.

Can a kite fly without a tail? What shape of paper airplane will fly the farthest? Why does a soap bubble float? Have fun with three experiments that explore how objects move through the air. One DIY kite is included per registration. All children must have an adult helper present.

Arthropods are creatures with a hard exoskeleton, such as pill-bugs, preying mantids, crayfish and more! Discover all of the arthropod characteristics by viewing live and preserved animals up close. Presentation is appropriate for both children and adults. Space is limited, please register everyone in your group.

Decorate a bandana for your furry (or scaly) loved one for summer! Pets of any species are welcome to join. Craft supplies and one standard bandana provided per registration (one size fits most dogs). Optional parade to follow the craft with a small prize for the staff favorite.
Please Note:
* An additional waiver must be signed.
* You are responsible for the actions of your pet.
* Keep your pet leashed or contained at all times. Leashes must not exceed 6 feet.
* No animals known to be aggressive or fearful may participate.
* Any animal feces must be picked up and disposed of by the pet owner.

Toddlers and Preschoolers, invite a grownup to join you for these nights of fun.

Kids 10 and under can Join Parkie in a 100 yard dash right after Parkie’s 5k race. Super Parkie’s runners will even get a cape to wear on their run!
