Does your child love to perform? This is the class to sign up for! Actors will rehearse and perform their own production of A Snow-White Christmas. They will explore characters, theater vocabulary, voice and movement. This is a great class for the beginning actors as well as the experienced actors who want to build performance skills and confidence on stage. Actors will receive a script and show t-shirt included in registration costs. Come see what the BPD Theater Company is all about!
Show Summary: Santa has a message, the Wicked Queen hates Christmas and is plotting against Snow White because she brings the lovely winter snow. Seeking safety from the Wicked Queen, Snow White finds shelter with seven Christmas elves. All is well until Snow White is tricked into taking a bite of a poisoned apple and falls asleep. Just in the nick of time, Prince Charming awakens Snow White with “love’s first kiss”, allowing snow to fall and Christmas to return to the forest.
*Auditions will take place in class on September 11. Audition materials will be emailed out to participants 1 week prior to the first class.
*Dress Rehearsals will take place December 15-19 and Performances will occur December 19-21

This fast paced, high energy class is designed to help your Ninja explore the true power they possess. It combines Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Obstacle Training and Freestyle Movement all into one sport. We focus on building confidence, respect, listening skills, goal setting, strength, agility, flexibility and creatively using their energy. Each Ninja is required to purchase a uniform package prior to the start of class which includes a t-shirt and headband signifying their level. Ninjas should wear their uniform consistently once it is received. Levels are white, yellow, green and blue. Children who are new to the Ninja program should enroll in white. Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills. Children who are new to gymnastics should enroll in a Developmental I class. Former students should enroll in the class level instructed by their coach on their class recommendation sheet. Participants may be asked to transfer to the appropriate level class.

Suggested Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable pants/shorts. No jeans, jean shorts, or any other type of clothing with buttons or buckles which could be harmful to your child or the equipment. We require long hair to be tied back and out of face. No shoes, earrings, bracelets or necklaces are allowed. Socks are optional, but not recommended for medium/high beam.

Our focus will be on confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility and creative energy. Each Lil Ninja is required to purchase a uniform package prior to the start of class which includes a t-shirt and headband. Lil Ninjas should wear their uniform consistently once it is received. Our Snack and Dance Class offers a unique opportunity for preschool age kids to continue learning in a class setting. Children enrolled in morning or afternoon preschool at the ACC will be escorted to or from preschool
