Energy will be transformed into tons of fun on vault, bars, beam and floor. Confidence is a major focus in our classes, as we guide each child to achieve their greatest individual potential. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. We offer a safe, fun, clean atmosphere with complete viewing for our parents. Preschool One is for children who are new to gymnastics and is commonly repeated. Preschool Two classes are recommended by an instructor. Please make sure that children are potty trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay in the lobby during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills. Children who are new to gymnastics should enroll in a Developmental I class. Students who have taken gymnastics should enroll in the class level instructed by their coach on their class recommendation sheet. Children may be asked to transfer to the appropriate level class.
Suggested Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable pants/shorts. No jeans, jean shorts, or any other type of clothing with buttons or buckles which could be harmful to your child or the equipment. We require long hair to be tied back and out of face. No shoes, earrings, bracelets or necklaces are allowed. Socks are optional, but not recommended for beam.
MAKEUP PROCEDURE
****Unfortunately, due to participant safety and class ratios, all gymnastics, cheer and ninjas classes are unable to accommodate makeup classes.
This class offers the best of Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Obstacle Training, and Freestyle Movement combined into a brand-new sport. Our focus will be on confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility, and creative energy. Each Lil Ninja is required to purchase a uniform package prior to the start of class which includes a t-shirt and headband. Lil Ninjas should wear their uniform consistently once it is received. The curriculum is based on the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for Children Birth to Age Three.

The Bolingbrook Illusions is an award-winning team that competes against other teams in the Midwest. We offer level 2-5 compulsory gymnastics and all levels of Xcel. These teams will follow routines and progressions for vault, uneven bars, beam and floor created by USAG. Competition takes place from January through May as part of the AAU; Gymnastics of Illinois Junior Organization (GIJO). It is a great way to prepare your child for high school gymnastics within the park district or at their high school. Testing is done late Spring and Early Fall and is required in order to enroll as a new member of the team.

It is never too late to learn to swim!
Beginner classes are designed for participants with minimal to no formal swimming experience, or who may be working to overcome a fear of the water. Classes will focus on building up your confidence and comfort in the water while practicing water safety skills. These skills include air exchange/breathing, floating, treading, and the foundations of the strokes.
Intermediate classes are designed for participants who are comfortable in the water and have experience with the foundational swimming skills (air exchange, floating, kicking, streamline). Classes will focus on the strokes, improving your technique and endurance.
Grandmaster H. Thomas Cameron is an 8th degree black belt with over 47 years of experience. He was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the 2018 Grandmaster of the year and has recently been included in the book “The World’s Greatest Living Martial Artists.” Students will learn self-defense as well as improving each student’s self-confidence, discipline, coordination, physical and mental capabilities. MAKEUP PROCEDURE
****Unfortunately, due to participant safety and class ratios, all gymnastics, cheer and ninjas classes are unable to accommodate makeup classes.
BODY PUMP HEAVY takes the proven psychology of group training and combines it with slower weightlifting. You focus on the same foundational lifts, but the slower speeds and longer recoveries, which allows for increased focus on technique and the ability to lift heavier.
Does your child love to perform? This is the class to sign up for! Actors will rehearse and perform their own production of Frozen KIDS. They will explore characters, theater vocabulary, voice and movement. This is a great class for the beginning actors as well as the experienced actors who want to build performance skills and confidence on stage. Theatre show summary: Frozen KIDS tells the story of Princesses Anna and Elsa in the kingdom of Arendelle. When Elsa’s magical powers plunge the kingdom into an eternal winter, Anna embarks on a journey with a snowman named Olaf, an ice harvester named Kristoff, and Kristoff’s reindeer Sven to find her sister. The story explores themes of sisterhood, acceptance, and the power of “true love”.
*Auditions will take place in class on January 8th. Audition materials will be emailed out to participants 1 week prior to the first class.
*Participants will have an additional rehearsal 5:00-6:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month beginning in February. Rehearsal Dates: February 4, March 4, April 8, May 6.
*Dress Rehearsals will take place May 11-15 and Performances will occur May 15-17
Ages 3 months – 2 years with adult
Babies swim lessons are designed for students between the ages of 3 months and 36 months. Classes will work through a level-based curriculum with foundations in child development theories in large groups. For safety and comfort, every participant must be accompanied in the water by one caregiver at least 18 years old and every non-potty trained participant must wear a swim diaper and lined swimsuit.
Endurance and strength rides combine for a vigorous workout burning calories and keeping your muscles toned. Whether you are training for a triathlon or riding for cardiovascular healthy, this class is sure to get your there.

Our classes will provide a safe (and fun!) environment where students will learn the most effective styles of modern mixed martial arts, infused with lessons on character development. We incorporate boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and jiu-jitsu in our structured curriculum. Every class begins and finishes with a “Mat Chat”, a personal development topic such as focus, confidence, discipline, bully-awareness ect. This class is for the ninja who has leveled out of Lil Ninjas and ready to take on the next challenge. Recommendation from the coach is required. This level will build on the ninja skills learned in Lil Ninjas with more focus on kicks, spins, tumbling and a combination of all three. Focus will continue with confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility, and creative energy.
This class is a drop in, pay as you come and offers basic step by step instructions geared toward men and women of all ages. Belynda is an experienced, social and hands on instructor who will work with you at your own pace. Her unique techniques and style will motivate and energize you while you learn the latest new line dances. Come prepared to gain your confidence in line dancing while laughing out loud to music. Class will be located at the Annerino Community Center in the Martial Arts Room.

This is a fast-paced class that develops coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and self-confidence. Beginning Tumbling is for children that are new to tumbling. Good form and positions will be learned at this level. Beginning tumblers will learn the following skills: forward and backward tuck and straddle rolls, lunge to handstand, cartwheel and round offs.
Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills. Children who are new to gymnastics should enroll in a Developmental I class. Students who have taken gymnastics should enroll in the class level instructed by their coach on their class recommendation sheet. Children may be asked to transfer to the appropriate level class.

Intermediate Tumbling will provide new challenges for our students once they have mastered the basics and encourage them to advance beyond beginning tumbling. Tumbling skills introduced will include handstand forward rolls, round offs, back walkovers, back handspring shaping drills, and back handsprings. Classes are taught in a fun yet focused manner, encouraging students to achieve higher-level skills. Coaches recommendation is required.

Is your toddler climbing on everything they can reach and never seem to be out of energy? This is a parent participatory class where our instructors will guide you and your child through introductory gymnastics skills each week using small bars, floor beams, tiny springboards, an array of skill blocks and octagons as well as our inflatable Air Trak. They will develop their balance, gross motor skills, hand, foot & eye coordination, as well as increase their strength, flexibility, social skills, and confidence.

Ages 16 months-3 years
Little Learners classes provide children with opportunities to socialize, overcome separation anxiety and be creative all while enjoying their first classroom experience. Time together begins with open play followed by clean-up and ending with a group activity time. Children will interact with age-appropriate toys, have sensory encounters, create both process and product-based art and participate in music/movement activities. The curriculum is based on the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for Children Birth to Age Three.
Parent Notes:
* Please dress your child in play clothes.
* Children do not have to be toilet trained for these classes.
* We request that you remain in the building during class time.
* To allow for enjoyment for all attendees, please leave older siblings at home.

Come discover where the Friday fun is. Each class explores a different theme through music, games, and activities. Children will take home a project from each class.
Please note: Children who are enrolled in the Bolingbrook Park District morning preschool can be picked up from their classroom and escorted to the Fun Friday event. Parents of children not enrolled in the park district preschool must remain in the building during class.
