Indoor and Outdoor Private Booking Release Dates

Private rentals are extremely popular and book up quickly. Below details the release dates of booking windows.

Indoor Private Rentals

Indoor private rentals are available all year. This rental received exclusive use of the indoor lap pool, leisure pool, two indoor water slides and the 10-person hot tub. This rental is currently available on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm. Please note that private rentals must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Summer 2-Person Outdoor Shade Shell Rentals

Six two-person shade shells are available to rent at Pelican Harbor Outdoor Aquatic Park. These shells offer a private shaded area along with two lounge chairs and a small table for renters to use while attending public swim.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS MAY BE MADE HERE and require an active Bolingbrook Park District online account. Day of rentals are available at the gate based on availability.

Important Rental Notes

  • No additional time for set-up/decorations.

  • An additional $100 late fee will be applied if facility is not vacated within 30 minutes of rental end time.

  • A 50% deposit and signed agreement is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the rental.

  • Private rentals must be booked at least two (2) weeks in advance.

  • The renter listed as the contact person on the agreement must be in attendance for the duration of the private rental and is responsible for all guests in attendance, their actions and damages to equipment or property.

  • The renter listed as the contact person on the agreement and their guests must abide by all Pelican Harbor Guidelines and Bolingbrook Park District Code of Conduct.

  • The use of Bolingbrook Park District property, image and likeness for financial gain is strictly prohibited, including the soliciting, publicizing, or sale of any form of the rental. This includes posting on Eventbrite or any other ticket sales platform.

  • No speakers, DJ’s, or live music.

  • Knives, weapons, glass, illegal/legal drugs, alcohol, tobacco products including vape products are not allowed in the park.

  • Private rentals are asked to maintain the following child to adult ratios: 2 to 1 for children 2 and under, 5 to 1 for children 2-3 years old, 8 to 1 for children 4-8 years old, 12 to 1 for children 9-12 years old.
