The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineering concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students move up a level each time they take the class. A basic knowledge of using a computer is recommended.

Parents are required to attend our annual mandatory meeting. Team leotards, warm ups, grips, meet fees and tape are additional fees beyond class registration.

Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills. Children who are new to gymnastics should enroll in a Developmental I class. Former students should enroll in the class level instructed by their coach on their class recommendation sheet. Participants may be asked to transfer to the appropriate level class.

Suggested Gymnastics Attire
Please wear a leotard or comfortable pants/shorts. No jeans, jean shorts, or any other type of clothing with buttons or buckles which could be harmful to your child or the equipment. We require long hair to be tied back and out of face. No shoes, earrings, bracelets or necklaces are allowed. Socks are optional, but not recommended for medium/high beam.

Babies swim lessons are designed for students between the ages of 3 months and 2 years old. Classes will work through a level-based curriculum with foundations in child development theories in large groups. For safety and comfort, every participant must be accompanied by one caregiver at least 18 years old and every non-potty trained participant must wear a swim diaper and lined swimsuit.

Winter Camp Alotta Fun will provide campers with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fun and exciting activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports, music and swimming every day at Pelican Harbor Indoor Pool. Campers need to bring a sack lunch, two snacks, a swim suit, towel and a water bottle. Daily registration is required. Campers must be in K-8th grade. Sign-up early, space is limited. Participants must be registered by 4:00 pm the night prior to camp.
