Our Program Offerings
Soon 2B3 Program (Ages 2 1/2-3)
A gentle introduction to the preschool experience.
This program helps children feel secure and confident as they separate from grown-ups and begin learning within a group setting. Through playful, developmentally appropriate activities, children build:
* Social interaction skills
* Large and small motor skills
* Early academic awareness
Diapers and pull-ups are acceptable at the start; children should be progressing toward independent toileting.
Meets 2 days per week
September hours are shortened to promote a smooth transition for those new to a preschool setting from 9:35-11:05 am

Little Learners classes provide children with opportunities to socialize, overcome separation anxiety and be creative all while enjoying their first classroom experience. Time together begins with open play followed by clean-up and ending with a group activity time. Children will interact with age-appropriate toys, have sensory encounters, create both process and product-based art and participate in music/movement activities. The curriculum is based on the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for Children Birth to Age Three.
Parent Notes:
* Please dress your child in play clothes.
* Children do not have to be toilet trained for these classes.
* We request that you remain in the building during class time.
* To allow for enjoyment for all attendees, please leave older siblings at home.
* Little Learners 1 is with adult.
* Little Learners 2 is a transitional class, allowing for adult participation if needed
* Little Learners 3 and 4 are child only.

Early Learners is a nurturing program designed especially for crawlers and toddlers, serving as a younger extension of our Little Learners class. In this engaging environment, you and your child will enjoy exploring age-appropriate toys and activities that encourage sensory development and discovery. Be prepared for hands-on fun-both children and caregivers should dress for messy play. To help create the best experience for all participants, we kindly ask that siblings over 17 months old remain at home.

Little Learners classes provide children with opportunities to socialize, overcome separation anxiety and be creative all while enjoying their first classroom experience. Time together begins with open play followed by clean-up and ending with a group activity time. Preschool Extended Day
Ages 3.5-5 years
Does your child need more preschool time? Extended your child’s day with these programs. Children who fit the age range can participate in multiple programs on the same day. Early Drop Off, Lunch Bunch and Lunch Bunch Plus are exclusively for children enrolled in the Bolingbrook Park District Preschool Program and sessions follow the Preschool 2026-2027 School Calendar.
Parent Notes:
* Children should bring food or snack items and water bottle in an insulated lunch box or bag. Label your child’s food containers and include any utensils or napkins that your child may need. Please send foods that your child can open independently.
* Please do not send food that contains nuts of any kind.
* Carbonated drinks or fast food meals are not appropriate for this program.
* There is no curbside pick-up or drop-off for these programs.
* Children enrolled in Early Drop Off should be walked into the building and dropped off to the Early Drop Off teacher between 8:30 am and 8:45 am.
* Only children enrolled in morning Preschool can participate in Early Drop Off.
* Children enrolled in Lunch Bunch or Lunch Bunch Plus will be escorted from their morning preschool classroom to the Lunch Bunch room. Children should be picked up from the Lunch Bunch room at the end of the program by an approved pick-up person.
* Children enrolled in afternoon preschool will be escorted to their classroom by the Lunch Bunch teacher.
* Children must be registered for each session separately. This is not a drop-in program.
* Children enrolled in Lunch Bunch Plus will eat lunch with friends and then have extra learning time with activities in various subjects.
