Christopher Finn is in charge of 183,224 total square feet of building space, 50 parks, and over 1,100 acres of open space. This includes maintaining and repairing facilities, general maintenance, special projects, and upkeep of parks that include the renovation and repairs of all the baseball, softball, soccer, and football fields.

His favorite parts of the job is seeing the patrons happy.

Additionally, he oversees three direct reporting managers (Buildings Maintenance Manager, Parks Maintenance Manager, and Natural Resources, Horticulture, and Turf Manager), 27 other full-time staff, 22 permanent part-time staff, and 15 seasonal staff.

His team maintains the natural areas and trail systems; turf management, and horticultural displays. This includes turf, trees, shrubs and landscape areas as well as all of our trails, prairies, wetlands, woodlands, and savannahs.

Prior to Bolingbrook Park District, he worked for the LaGrange Park District where he did everything from recreation programming, facilities management, parks, maintenance and capitol replacement projects.

For fun, Christopher enjoys being outdoors, camping  and mountain biking.
