As Director of Marketing and Customer Care, Kimberly oversees the planning and development of the overall brand management for the district. Her department oversees marketing, brand identity, communications, editorial, public relations, social media, design, web development, and customer service. The departments goal is to work as partners with managers/supervisors on high-profile initiatives and mission-critical business operations.

Kimberly is passionate about promoting recreation. She has been recognized nationally for excellence in communication winning the National Park and Recreation Association’s Best Overall Communicator Award seven times. She is also actively involved in the Illinois Parks and Recreation Association having served on the association’s strategic planning committee, communications and marketing section director and presenter at the Illinois Park and Recreation Association Conference. She has also presented at the World Waterpark Association Conference.

Kimberly earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration from Carroll University and her Masters of Strategy, Leadership and Management from Michigan State University. Kimberly gained sports marketing experience with the Milwaukee Wave, Milwaukee Bucks and Pettit National Ice Center. While holding those positions she assisted with national and international skating events, including Olympic Trials and World Championships for Speedskating, game day operations and overall ticket sales. She then moved to the non-profit sector working with the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. Kim has applied her diverse work experience to Bolingbrook Park District where she has led the District’s marketing, communications and customer care functions for the last 19 years.
