Lindsey Pollina –  Dance and Theatre Manager

Lindsey Pollina discovered her passion for the performing arts at an early age, when she began participating in theatre and dance programs through the Glenview Park District. It was there that she joined their Dance Team, an experience that deepened her commitment to dance. During her high school years, Lindsey began assistant teaching dance and theatre classes, sharing her growing knowledge and enthusiasm with younger students.

Lindsey went on to attend the University of Kentucky, where graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Leadership Development, along with a minor in Dance. Following graduation, Lindsey stepped into a leadership role as the Cultural Arts and Special Events Supervisor at the Crystal Lake Park District. In this role, she oversaw a wide range of programs, including dance, theatre, visual arts, and cooking, as well as coordinated special events for the community. Throughout this time, she remained actively connected to dance education, assistant teaching and substituting classes at both the Glenview Park District and Northshore Elite Talent Company.

In 2021, Lindsey became the Dance and Theatre Manager for the Bolingbrook Park District. In this position, she continues to play an integral role in expanding performing arts opportunities, including aiding in the creation of the BPD Dance Company. Annemarie Peterson – BPD Dance Company Co-Director & Instructor

Annemarie Peterson’s love for movement began before her first steps, rooted in a deep connection to music and expression. She started her formal dance training at the age of three in her hometown of Bolingbrook, where she began shaping her voice as an artist. Her training spans a diverse range of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, contemporary/lyrical, musical theatre, and West African—each contributing to her dynamic and versatile movement quality.

Her early years as a competitive dancer provided a foundation of discipline and performance experience, highlighted by the opportunity to perform in the Orange Bowl Halftime Show alongside the Goo Goo Dolls. Annemarie continued to cultivate her artistry through several years of training with the Joffrey Ballet, where she deepened her technical precision and artistic depth.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago, along with a minor in Photography, further expanding her creative perspective and appreciation for storytelling through both movement and image.

Today, Annemarie shares her passion as Co-Director of the BPD Dance Company and as a Dance Instructor with the Bolingbrook Park District and Naperville Park District. Through her teaching and choreography, she strives to inspire connection, creativity, and confidence in every dancer she works with.
