The Bolingbrook Park District is committed to supporting families during these difficult times. To provide working families during the e-learning process, the REACH Before/After School Program has been expanded to REACH All-Day Care to provide support at multiple facilities throughout Bolingbrook. Park District staff will provide supervision for Valley View School District (VVSD) students or Bolingbrook Park District residents, grades K-5th, as they guide themselves through their daily e-learning requirements.

Typically, the R.E.A.C.H. (Recreation Enhances A Child’s Health) program provides before/after school care for six Bolingbrook elementary schools. The REACH All Day Care is being offered as two options for families:

  • Option 1: 8:30 am-3:30 pm, offered Monday-Friday, TU/W/TH, or M/W/F.
  • Option 2: 8:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Facilities for WIFI (as needed), use of the gymnasium, outdoor play areas, structured and unstructured table games, arts and crafts, and personal space/quiet time to relax, read and eat (during certain times or as needed).  Facilities available include:

  • Annerino Community Center (201 Recreation Dr.)
  • New Life Church (249 N. Bolingbrook Dr.)
  • Village Community Center (201 Canterbury Ln., Suite A)
  • Living Water Church (190 Lily Cache Ln.)

“We’re all in this together,” said Ron Oestreich, executive director. “We understand the challenges that face each family and are proud to work with the Village of Bolingbrook, Valley View School District, and other community leaders to provide a much-needed service.”

Participants of REACH All-Day Care will be supervised by Bolingbrook Park District REACH staff.
