Bolingbrook Park District is committed to preserving the financial strength of the district for the residents of Bolingbrook. We have been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) the past 21 consecutive years. This is the highest form of recognition in the area of government accounting and financial reporting.

Prevailing Wage Ordinance
In accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Bolingbrook Park District has made a determination of the prevailing rates of wages to be paid to laborers, mechanics and other workers employed in public works projects for the Park District. The Park District has determined that the prevailing rates of wages are the wage rates for Will County, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor.
A copy of the determination is available for public inspection in the Park District’s business office located at 201 Recreation Drive, Bolingbrook, IL. Copies are also available upon request by call the Park District at (630) 739-0272.
Employee Compensation Information
Pursuant to the requirements of 5 ILCS 120/7.3, we have made available in our Human Resource Department, 201 Recreation Drive, Bolingbrook, Illinois, the total compensation package for each employee having a total compensation package that exceeds $75,000 per year. The statute defines “total compensation” to mean salary, health insurance, vehicle allowance, clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days and sick days.

Vendor Information Reporting
Public Act 102-0265 requires taxing districts that have an annual property tax levy of more than $5 million to make a good faith effort to collect and electronically publish data as to whether vendors and subcontractors doing business with the district are minority, women, or veteran owned businesses.
