Bolingbrook Park District is celebrating Unplug Illinois Day on Saturday, July 11 a Free Fishing Day at Hidden Lakes Historic Trout Fam. Everyone can fish for free without a permit from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. Unplug Illinois Day encourages communities across Illinois to ditch their electronic devices and ‘unplug’ to enjoy everything their local park and recreation agencies have to offer.
The Tackle Box Bait Shop will be open and offers live bait, including worms and minnows, along with light snacks and refreshments for purchase. The bait shop is located at 475 Trout Farm Rd. .
