Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Nets will be provided with limited supply of paddles and balls.
Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex is available for supervised basketball open gym during the below scheduled hours. All participants will be required to pay daily admission fee, along with providing a Student I.D. verification to enter. Please contact a member of the Customer Care Team to verify court availability. Schedule is subject to change. There will be limited number of participants allowed in gym so come early! School day off open gym times vary. Please call ahead.

In this two hour make and take you will crochet your own Market Bag. Written patterns will be provided at the beginning of class and kits will be available with all necessary crochet tools and notions included. Prior crochet experience required.
In this five week course you’ll learn the basic stitches, concepts and components of crochet. We will go over all the how-tos and whatnots you need to know to wrangle this hobby. We’ll go over chain stitches, single, and half-double crochet stitches; when and how to use magic rings and slipknots; how to decipher pattern abbreviations and yarn wrapper information. All materials and gadgets will be supplied on the first day of class to use in class. *Disclosure – Instructor cannot guarantee you will walk away with a finished item; everyone learns at their own pace and that’s okay.

Our expert chandler will walk you through the entire process and assist you in creating your own beautiful hand-crafted candle. We use quality ingredients and eco-friendly non-toxic fragrance oils, wax, and vessels that can be re-purposed after your candle is done. All supplies are included.
Let’s have fun trying out different super hero powers by using science. We will turn things invisible like the Invisible Girl, make things super stretchy like Mr. Fantastic, build different gadgets and prototypes like Iron Man, and so much more. Each day we meet we will cover a new super hero power and we will have take home experiments as well. So what are you waiting for… let’s try out those scientific powers.
This hands-on Science club will explore so many topics in STEAM. From traveling to the inside of our Earth and working with Volcanic Rocks and Creating “Lava”, to exploring the darkest parts of the ocean and working with Bioluminescence and even making our way into outer space with some Rocket Blasts. This STEAM Club will cover so many different experiments with each day bringing in new topics and places to explore. Take home items will be at the end of each class date.
The Five classes will be jammed packed with science fun from geode splitting, to rocket blasting, creating hover crafts, bouncing bubbles, and getting icy using chemistry to make grape slushies. This Fun filled adventure will be sure to inspire your future scientists.
Does your child love Minecraft? Imagine if children learn Civil Engineering and City Planning while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, stores, libraries, schools and more. Minecraft Java Edition is used in the classroom as the tool for hands-on learning. We inspire future Engineers using Minecraft. Students should be familiar with using a computer, mouse and Minecraft.
