Does your child love to perform? This is the class to sign up for! Actors will rehearse and perform their own production of A Snow-White Christmas. They will explore characters, theater vocabulary, voice and movement. This is a great class for the beginning actors as well as the experienced actors who want to build performance skills and confidence on stage. Show Summary: Santa has a message, the Wicked Queen hates Christmas and is plotting against Snow White because she brings the lovely winter snow. Seeking safety from the Wicked Queen, Snow White finds shelter with seven Christmas elves. All is well until Snow White is tricked into taking a bite of a poisoned apple and falls asleep. Just in the nick of time, Prince Charming awakens Snow White with “love’s first kiss”, allowing snow to fall and Christmas to return to the forest.

Drop your child off for an exciting adventure exploring the wonders of local woodlands. Nature provides rich sensory experiences, encourages creativity, and promotes problem-solving skills. Instructors will lead the children through trails and paths, teaching them about their interconnectedness to living things in the natural world. Children must be 3 by September 1, 2025 for enrollment.

In this five week crochet along we will be exploring several different cable techniques involved in creating the made-to-measure Flowers and Cables Cardigan. Pattern and starter materials will be provided, and all experience levels are welcome. Participants will receive hooks, needles, pattern, some button combination option and yarn. Due to differing styles, sizes and aesthetics, attendees will need to supply some materials for later in the class. After the first class, participants will need to purchase and bring the main body color of the cardigan.
The exciting world of gymnastics: where energy will be transformed into tons of fun on vault, bars, beam and floor. Confidence is a major focus in our classes, as we guide each child to achieve their greatest individual potential. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. We offer a safe, fun, clean atmosphere with complete viewing for our parents. Preschool One is for children who are new to gymnastics and is commonly repeated. Preschool Two classes are recommended by an instructor. Please make sure that children are potty trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. This class will be a transition from the developmental program to team gymnastics. The gymnasts will learn AAU level 1 and 2 skills as they develop strength, flexibility, team spirit and sportsmanship. Invitation to Pre-Team is required.

The Bolingbrook Illusions is an award-winning team that competes against other teams in the Midwest. We offer level 2-5 compulsory gymnastics and all levels of Xcel. These teams will follow routines and progressions for vault, uneven bars, beam and floor created by USAG. Competition takes place from January through May as part of the AAU; Gymnastics of Illinois Junior Organization (GIJO). It is a great way to prepare your child for high school gymnastics within the park district or at their high school. Testing is done late Spring and Early Fall and is required in order to enroll as a new member of the team.
Parents are required to attend our annual mandatory meeting. Team leotards, warm ups, grips, meet fees and tape are additional fees beyond class registration.

Intermediate Tumbling will provide new challenges for our students once they have mastered the basics and encourage them to advance beyond beginning tumbling. Tumbling skills introduced will include handstand forward rolls, round offs, back walkovers, back handspring shaping drills, and back handsprings. Classes are taught in a fun yet focused manner, encouraging students to achieve higher-level skills. Coaches recommendation is required.
