BRAC Pickleball / Open Play

Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex is available for open pickleball play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:30 am. Please wear gym shoes. Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Nets will be provided with limited supply of paddles and balls.

Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex is available for supervised basketball open gym during the below scheduled hours. All participants will be required to pay daily admission fee, along with providing a Student I.D. verification to enter. Please contact a member of the Customer Care Team to verify court availability. Schedule is subject to change. There will be limited number of participants allowed in gym so come early! In this five week course you’ll learn the basic stitches, concepts and components of crochet. We will go over all the how-tos and whatnots you need to know to wrangle this hobby. We’ll go over chain stitches, single, and half-double crochet stitches; when and how to use magic rings and slipknots; how to decipher pattern abbreviations and yarn wrapper information. All materials and gadgets will be supplied on the first day of class to use in class. *Disclosure – Instructor cannot guarantee you will walk away with a finished item; everyone learns at their own pace and that’s okay.

This hands-on Science club will explore so many topics in STEAM. From traveling to the inside of our Earth and working with Volcanic Rocks and Creating “Lava”, to exploring the darkest parts of the ocean and working with Bioluminescence and even making our way into outer space with some Rocket Blasts. This STEAM Club will cover so many different experiments with each day bringing in new topics and places to explore. Take home items will be at the end of each class date.

Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, stores, libraries, schools and more. Minecraft Java Edition is used in the classroom as the tool for hands-on learning. We inspire future Engineers using Minecraft. Students should be familiar with using a computer, mouse and Minecraft.
