Formerly Swim School and Stroke School. Group swim lessons are an excellent place for swimmers between the ages of 3 and 14 to learn and grow, from floating to the stroke techniques. In these classes, students will be in class with other students of the same or similar skill level. All instructors are certified through Starfish Aquatics Institute. Please Note: In the event of inclement weather, cancellations will be communicated via email. Participants will be credited back for classes cancelled due to inclement weather, classes will not be rescheduled.

These lessons place an emphasis on safety and basic water skills for the beginner swimmer. Through the 5 color levels of Swim School, swimmers gain confidence in the water, learn to swim and float with and without assistance, and end with the building blocks for freestyle. Students will also have a solid grasp of important safety rules and topics upon completion of these levels.

2:1 student to instructor ratio
Semi-private lessons are ideal for students seeking more individualized attention, offering a more personalized and focused learning environment. Students will be in class with another student of similar skill level. All instructors are certified through Starfish Aquatics Institute.

It is never too late to learn to swim!
Beginner classes are designed for participants with minimal to no formal swimming experience, or who may be working to overcome a fear of the water. Classes will focus on building up your confidence and comfort in the water while practicing water safety skills. These skills include air exchange/breathing, floating, treading, and the foundations of the strokes.
Intermediate classes are designed for participants who are comfortable in the water and have experience with the foundational swimming skills (air exchange, floating, kicking, streamline). Classes will focus on the strokes, improving your technique and endurance.

Beginner diving students learn the basics of standing, front, and back dives off the springboard. Intermediate students are those that have shown mastery in the Beginner Diving class, or show aptitude in all standing, front, and back dives. Intermediate students learn the tuck dive, pike dive, and improve on dives from the beginner level. All diving students must be able to swim and tread water at an advanced level.
