This adult class is for adults 18+ who want to try something new, or former gymnasts who want to challenge themselves. You will improve your strength, flexibility, and body awareness, as well as master some fundamental gymnastics tumbling skills!

This is a non-competitive, introductory class for younger athletes. This class will teach the basics of cheerleading and build confidence, strength, coordination and flexibility. Jumps, hand motions, tumbling, stunting and a cheer will be taught, as well as the importance of teamwork. Clean gym shoes must be worn in this class and hair must be tied back neatly out of face. No jewelry allowed for safety reasons.
In an organized, yet playful structure, this parent and tot class is the perfect way to socialize your child, allow them to learn and understand what it means to follow instruction, and of course, get them moving! These classes follow our Ninja theme,(of course, and the skills required to master the course include fundamental movement, coordination, fine and gross motor skill development, and our NinjaZone character-building component. Baby Ninjas allows your child to play, have fun, bond with their Ninja grown-up, and learn body awareness. Baby Ninjas will be introduced to simple vocabulary, color words, numbers, and more! Baby Ninjas is for stable walkers through age 3.5. Baby Ninja classes prepare your child for the next phase of Ninja Sport, so by the time they are old enough to enroll in Lil Ninja classes, they will be ahead of the game!

Our focus will be on confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility and creative energy. Each Lil Ninja is required to purchase a uniform package prior to the start of class which includes a t-shirt and headband. Lil Ninjas should wear their uniform consistently once it is received. The uniform can be purchased at www.bolingbrookparks.org/NinjaZone. Uniforms are non-refundable. Please make sure that children are potty-trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
This class is for the ninja who has leveled out of Lil Ninjas and ready to take on the next challenge! Recommendation from the coach is required. This level will build on the ninja skills learned in Lil Ninjas with more focus on kicks, spins, tumbling and a combination of all three. Focus will continue with confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility, and creative energy. Is your toddler climbing on everything they can reach and never seem to be out of energy? This is a parent participatory class where our instructors will guide you and your child through introductory gymnastics skills each week using small bars, floor beams, tiny springboards, an array of skill blocks and octagons as well as our inflatable Air Trak. They will develop their balance, gross motor skills, hand, foot & eye coordination, as well as increase their strength, flexibility, social skills and confidence. TDP, GMN
The exciting world of gymnastics: where their energy will be transformed into tons of fun on vault, bars, beam and floor. Confidence is a major focus in our classes, as we guide each child to achieve their greatest individual potential. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. We offer a safe, fun, clean atmosphere with complete viewing for our parents. Preschool One is for children who are new to gymnastics and is commonly repeated. Please make sure that children are potty-trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay in the lobby during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
This is the second level of Preschool Gymnastics for children who have leveled out of Preschool One, recommendation from the coach is required. This class will build on the skills learned in Preschool One with more focus on technique, form, and muscle control. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. Please make sure that children are potty-trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay in the lobby during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
Your child will develop coordination, strength, balance and confidence. Tumblers will learn the following skills: forward and backward rolls, straddle roll, lunge to handstand, cartwheel, bridges, splits and various jumps using tumbling devices and our Air Trak. Please make sure that children are potty-trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay in the lobby during the entire class for emergency or bathroom purposes.
Pre-Developmental is a one-hour class designed for our 5-year-old kindergartners who are in school all day! This class will follow the Developmental I format. Children will learn skills on vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor in a safe and controlled atmosphere. Children will spend a small portion of class time conditioning and strengthening the appropriate muscles to help improve their gymnastics skills.

Beginning Tumbling is a fast-paced class that develops coordination, strength, flexibility, balance and self-confidence. Beginning Tumbling is for children that are new to tumbling. Good form and positions will be learned at this level. Beginning tumblers will learn the following skills: forward and backward tuck and straddle rolls, lunge to handstand, cartwheel and round offs.
Become a better tumbler or continue to develop current skills. A variety of tumbling skills that children will work on include cartwheels, handstands, roundoffs, backward rolls, bridges and back handsprings. Conditioning will be a small part of this class to prepare each child for increased difficulty in skill level.
Is your child close to moving up but her bars are preventing her from doing that? This class will focus on the conditioning, drills and additional bar time that some gymnasts need to move to that next level. For Developmental 1-4 gymnasts and team gymnasts.

This class will be a transition from the developmental program to team gymnastics. The gymnasts will learn AAU level 1 and 2 skills as they develop strength, flexibility, team spirit and sportsmanship. Invitation to Pre-Team is required.

These teams will follow routines and progressions for vault, uneven bars, beam and floor created by USAG. Competition takes place from January through May as part of the AAU; Gymnastics of Illinois Junior Organization (GIJO). It is a great way to prepare your child for high school gymnastics within the park district or at their high school. Testing is done late Spring and Early Fall and is required in order to enroll as a new member of the team.
Parents are required to attend our annual mandatory meeting. Team leotards, warm ups, grips, meet fees and tape are additional fees beyond class registration.

Class includes a thorough warm up, proper stretching, and the continuous development of the basics of ballet. There is no pre-requisite for this class.

This fun and upbeat class inspires creativity and teaches the fundamentals of hip hop. Students will develop coordination, strength, dance technique, rhythm, and body awareness in a caring, exciting, nurturing environment. This class is an excellent way for children to be introduced to the many benefits of the performing arts.

Our littlest dancers will have a blast dancing to some of Broadway’s smash hits. The use of props will aid them in gaining coordination and developing motor skills.

Children along with their parents are introduced to the world of dance and movement through activities that encourage expression, music appreciation, and creative fun. Our instructors will guide you step by step through this process while you enjoy dancing with your child and creating a special bond!

Bend, stretch, point and flex. The grace of ballet and flexibility of tumbling come together in this class. Basic skills will be taught in a fun and interactive environment. Props will also be used to engage the children in the learning process.

This class is perfect for the beginner for exploring different dance disciplines and learning basic techniques.

This class serves as an introduction to hip hop dance for our younger dancers. Using games and music, the class focuses on rhythm, musicality, creativity, coordination, body awareness, and basic hip hop technique. It is a great way to get kids moving and introduce them to the many benefits of the performing arts!

Enrich your child’s creativity, movement, coordination and confidence. This beginning dance class will introduce and reinforce the basic fundamentals of dance all while having fun.

Develop poise, grace, and confidence! Level I will introduce and reinforce the basic fundamentals of Ballet. Advancement to higher levels of training will require teacher recommendation and are based upon the mastering the skills necessary to advance. Staying consistent in training throughout the year is the key to moving up through the levels.

Hip Hop dance incorporates a variety of old and new urban, street, and pop dance styles. This dance style represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of the music. This class is a fun, fast paced and high energy class that focuses on rhythmic dancing, cardio, and may include floor work. Hip hop dance is very dynamic and helps the dancers improve flexibility, develop body balance, and coordination.

Ballet and jazz come to life in this expressive style. Lyrical is diverse, ranging from fluent, balletic movements to stylized jazz.
