He was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the 2018 Grandmaster of the year and has recently been included in the book “The World’s Greatest Living Martial Artists.” Students will learn self-defense as well as improving each student’s self-confidence, discipline, coordination, physical and mental capabilities. The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineering concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Does your child need more preschool time? Extended your child’s day with these programs. Children who fit the age range can participate in multiple programs on the same day. Breakfast Buddies, Lunch Bunch and Lunch Bunch Plus are exclusively for children enrolled in the Bolingbrook Park District Preschool Program and sessions follow the Preschool 2025-2026 School Calendar.
Parent Notes:
* Children should bring food or snack items and water bottle in an insulated lunch box or bag. Label your child’s food containers and include any utensils or napkins that your child may need. Please send foods that your child can open independently.
* Please do not send food that contains nuts of any kind.
* Carbonated drinks or fast food meals are not appropriate for this program.
* There is no curbside pick-up or drop-off for these programs.
* Children enrolled in Breakfast Buddies should be brought into the building and dropped off to the Breakfast Buddies teacher between 8:15 am and 8:45 am.
