Ages 11-16 years
The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED – BL course prepares youth to care for children and infants safely and confidently. It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. We want to prepare participants well for emergencies, but CPR can be physically demanding and participants should ideally weigh at least 85-90 pounds to participate. The First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning course includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-person training and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of both the online and in person portions of the course a valid 10-year Babysitter’s Training digital certification and a valid 2-year digital certificate for Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

Learn how to use a competitive swimming snorkel from Pelican swim team coaches. Snorkels help to keep body alignment and kick strong and steady while swimming. A competitive swimming snorkel is required to participate in this program.

All instructors are certified in this curriculum, with established benchmarks at every level that combine safety and swimming skills.
Babies swim lessons are designed for students between the ages of 3 months and 2 years old. Classes will work through a level-based curriculum with foundations in child development theories in large groups. For safety and comfort, every participant must be accompanied by one caregiver at least 18 years old and every non-potty trained participant must wear a swim diaper and lined swimsuit.

Private swim lessons provide the ultimate, personalized, swim lesson experience. Lessons will be individualized to the goals of the participant. Whether you’re starting your swim journey, or looking to refine advanced techniques, our private lessons will empower participants to meet their own personal swimming goals, while building a strong foundation of water safety skills. All instructors are certified through Starfish Aquatics Institute.

Does your child love Minecraft? Imagine if children learn Civil Engineering and City Planning while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, stores, libraries, schools and more. Minecraft Java Edition is used in the classroom as the tool for hands-on learning. We inspire future Engineers using Minecraft. Students should be familiar with using a computer, mouse and Minecraft.
This adult class is for adults 18+ who want to try something new, or former gymnasts who want to challenge themselves. You will improve your strength, flexibility, and body awareness, as well as master some fundamental gymnastics tumbling skills!
The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineering concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students move up a level each time they take the class. A basic knowledge of using a computer is recommended.

Reveal your inner artist by joining one or more of these ceramic workshops. Each workshop you will create a ceramic piece on bisque using various techniques and glaze products. Basic instructions will guide you through the project with options on each project. Using your vision and creativity you will customize your design and make it your own. Each workshop piece will be ready for firing that day. The piece will be ready for pickup in approximately a week. Fee will include bisque, color, instructions and firing.
