Ages 3-5 years
Come find out where the Friday fun is. Children will explore seasonal activities to get them in the festive mood. Parents must remain in the building during these classes.
* Autumn Artists focuses on spending time outdoors and creating art under the canopy of the beautiful Fall weather. Children will take a project home after each class.
* Halloween Science is full of spooky but safe activities. Children will find out how elements of chemistry, physics, and nature can explain away their seasonal fears.
* At The Kids Table children will be ready when Thanksgiving comes, by learning how to set a table, use proper manners, create a seasonal snack and clean up after eating.
* Holidays Around the World gives children the opportunity to create crafts that represent many of the holidays found during the month of December.

Little Learners classes provide children with opportunities to socialize, overcome separation anxiety, and be creative, all while enjoying their first classroom experience. Time together includes play time, clean-up, and group time. Children will interact with Age-appropriate toys, have sensory encounters, create both process and product-based art, and participate in music/movement activities. The curriculum is planned using the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for Children Birth to Ages Three.

PARENT NOTES:
• Play can be messy, please dress your child in play clothes.
• Children do not have to be toilet trained for these classes.
• We request that you remain in the building during these classes.
• Little Learners 1 is with adult. Little Learners 2 is a transitional class, allowing for adult participation if needed. Little Learners 3 is child only. It is recommended that classes be taken in order, but children can be enrolled at any level that fits their Ages.
• All classes can be taken multiple times.

Does your child need more preschool time? Extended your child’s day with these programs. Children who fit the age range can participate in multiple programs on the same day. Breakfast Buddies, Lunch Bunch and Lunch Bunch Plus are exclusively for children enrolled in the Bolingbrook Park District Preschool Program and sessions follow the Preschool 2025-2026 School Calendar.
Parent Notes:
* Children should bring food or snack items and water bottle in an insulated lunch box or bag. Label your child’s food containers and include any utensils or napkins that your child may need. Please send foods that your child can open independently.
* Please do not send food that contains nuts of any kind.
* Carbonated drinks or fast-food meals are not appropriate for this program.
* There is no curbside pick-up or drop-off for these programs.
* Children enrolled in Breakfast Buddies should be brought into the building and dropped off to the Breakfast Buddies teacher between 8:15 am and 8:45 am.
* Only children enrolled in morning Preschool can participate in Breakfast Buddies.
* Children enrolled in Lunch Bunch or Lunch Bunch Plus will be escorted from their morning preschool classroom to the Lunch Bunch room. Children should be picked up from this room at the end of the program by an approved pick-up person.
* Children enrolled in afternoon preschool will be escorted to their classroom by the Lunch Bunch teacher.
* Children must be registered for each session separately. This is not a drop-in program.
* Children enrolled in Lunch Bunch Plus will eat lunch with friends and then have extra learning time with activities in various subjects.
