We off a variety of programs that use different mediums, so seasoned artists can continue to improve on skills and someone that’s just looking to learn a new skill can jump right in. We offer one-day classes, weekly programs, seasonal-themed classes to beginner workshops.

200208 / Crochet Cardigan

In this five week crochet along we will be exploring several different cable techniques involved in creating the made-to-measure Flowers and Cables Cardigan. Pattern and starter materials will be provided, and all experience levels are welcome. Participants will receive hooks, needles, pattern, some button combination option and yarn. Due to differing styles, sizes and aesthetics, attendees will need to supply some materials for later in the class. After the first class, participants will need to purchase and bring the main body color of the cardigan.

200210 / Adult Art Classes

In this five week course you’ll learn the basic stitches, concepts, and components of crochet and pattern reading. We will go over all the how-tos and whatnots you need to know to wrangle this hobby! We’ll go over chain stitches, single, and half-double crochet stitches; when and how to use magic rings and slipknots; how to decipher pattern abbreviations and yarn wrapper information; and several ways to seam a square. All materials and gadgets will be supplied on the first day of class to use in class. *Disclosure – Instructor cannot guarantee you will walk away with a finished item; everyone learns at their own pace and that’s okay.

Take an afternoon and create a unique ceramic piece. You will use various glazes and learn new techniques, while enjoying a fun afternoon. All supplies will be furnished. Plate pieces will be fired after class and will be available for pick-up the following week at BRAC.

Our expert chandler will walk you through the entire process and assist you in creating your own beautiful hand-crafted candle. We use quality ingredients and eco-friendly non-toxic fragrance oils, wax, and vessels that can be re-purposed after you candle is done. All supplies are included.

Is your child a Brainy Kids kid? Find out by signing up for one or all of these sampler classes. These enrichment classes feature themes that engage children and offer opportunities for social, physical and intellectual growth. Children will practice reading, using scissors, and writing with pencils.
Children do not have to be toilet trained for these classes. Parents must remain in the building during class time.
