Ages 7+
How does nature recycle and break down dead plants and animals? How long do bones last? Are mushrooms a plant or animal? (Spoiler alert: Neither!) A wide variety of often misunderstood organisms are responsible for keeping our world healthy and returning nutrients to the soil. In this program, we’ll indulge curiosity and safely investigate fungus, insects, animal bones and more to learn about the circle of life.

All ages
How can we tell an animal is nearby without seeing the animal? Discover the clues animals leave behind by observing real animal artifacts, practice your detective skills with a team game, and craft a personalized animal track to take home. Instruction is adapted for children and adults. Registration is per crafting kit.

Ages 5+
Join us for a celebration of butterflies, bees, flowers and more with an activity packed event! We’ll learn about the importance of pollinators, look at real and preserved insects up-close, make a craft, and taste test varieties of honey. Registration includes one adult per child.

Treat your kids (and yourself) to a fun night out. Kids will enjoy an evening of toy play, arts and crafts, active party games and pizza. Each party will feature a different theme. Children can wear pajamas or play clothes. Cheese pizza and water will be served, please inform key program contact of any food allergies.

Toddlers and preschoolers, invite a grown-up to join you for these days filled with fun activities and a special treat.
