Community focused events are offered throughout the year to bring people together, challenge yourself or simply to have fun.

Are you new to Bolingbrook, navigating a life change, or just looking for meaningful interactions? Join your neighbors for light refreshments and small-group conversation to develop peer relationships and strengthen our community. Conversation topics and activities are guided by Park District staff to create a welcoming and respectful environment.
All Ages
This auditorium-style event will feature 10+ animal ambassadors from Crosstown Exotics! Explore the unique features of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, like alligators, tarantulas, and pythons. All audience members will have the opportunity to pet at least one animal; some individuals will be called on to interact with additional animals. Registration is required for all in attendance.
Excite your furry buddy’s senses with a special hike, visiting stations of curated items for them to sniff, taste or play with! Arrive between 1:00-2:00 pm to enjoy about 45 minutes of activity, including a paw-print craft. Registration is per group with up to two dogs; human companions are free to attend.
Please Note:
* An additional waiver must be signed.
* You are responsible for the actions of your dog.
* Keep your dog leashed at all times. Leashes must not exceed 6 feet.
* No dogs known to be fearful or aggressive towards other dogs or people may participate.
* Any dog feces must be picked up and disposed of by the dog owner.
Treat your kids (and yourself) to a fun night out. Kids will enjoy an evening of toy play, arts and crafts, active party games and pizza. Each party will feature a different theme. Children can wear pajamas or play clothes. Cheese pizza and water will be served, please inform key program contact of any food allergies.
