Volleyball is a sport where you can find a lifetime of play and competition. You can start having games in your living room with a balloon and work your way up to beach volleyball. It offers a great workout. Playing 45 minutes of volleyball can burn up to 585 calories. Volleyball improves muscle strength and tone. It improves hand-eye coordination, reflexes and balance.
Bolingbrook Park District programs focus on teaching proper technique and skills to build upon. The main focus is safety and growing a love of the game!

Want to learn the basics and fundamentals of volleyball beyond just gym volleyball? Join us as we teach the “fun”damentals and foundation of becoming a future volleyball player! We’re calling all 5th-8th graders who want to learn from some of the best coaches. Join us as we make learning fun! Please note that if you are registering for both Sundays and Thursdays, the times only show for one of the days. This activity meets Sundays 1:30-2:30 PM and Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 PM. Do you have the basics of volleyball down but need additional coaching and training to accelerate your skills for school or club? Hit harder, set better, jump higher, and pass and serve more consistently while learning advanced strategies of the game. Thursday sessions focus on skills and training, while Sunday sessions focus on game scenarios. Please note that if you are registering for both Sundays and Thursdays, the times only show for one of the days. This activity meets on Sundays 3:30-5:00 PM and Thursdays 4:45-6:15 PM.
