Tricia Dubiel
Superintendent of Business & Finance
As Superintendent of Business and Finance, Tricia manages the accounting and financial resource functions of the District including auditing, financial reporting, tax compliance, and investments. She serves on the Finance Committee which establishes and maintains financial policies, manages the budget, and drives forward resource planning and funding. Tricia oversees the Business Office team who handles the processing of all financial transactions that flow through the district, including payroll, accounts payable, and cash receipts.
Tricia is passionate about park district finance and dedicated to good stewardship to the citizens of the communities she serves. She has been a government finance professional for over seventeen years and most of those years working at park districts. “There is something special about park districts, they are a destination for the community, a place where you go to have FUN,” said Dubiel. “I love walking through the facilities and seeing our guests making memories that will last a lifetime knowing that I play a role in making it all happen.”
Tricia earned her B.A. degree at North Central College. Tricia has been an active member of the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association for over sixteen years expanding her professional network, knowledge and experience by serving on boards, committees and task forces. Recently, partnered with another member, she has successfully developed and leads a roundtable group focused on meeting the specific needs of park district finance professionals. She is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and Illinois Park and Recreation Association.
