The Bolingbrook Park District Board of Commissioners announces the monthly board and workshop meeting dates for 2024. All meetings are held at Annerino Community Center, 201 Recreation Drive Bolingbrook, Illinois in the Board Room.
Bolingbrook Park District Board of Commissioners is made up of a 5-member volunteer board. Commissioners serve 4-year terms and are elected in the consolidated election in staggered years. Three commissioners are elected in one consolidated election and the other two commissioners are elected in the following consolidated election (two years later).
Bolingbrook Park District is committed to preserving the financial strength of the district for the residents of Bolingbrook. We have been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) the past 21 consecutive years.
The residents of Bolingbrook drive the plans and goals of Bolingbrook Park District. Feedback is gathered from the community through our ongoing Community-wide Survey, which is distributed randomly to Bolingbrook households. This survey is completed every three to four years and is designed to capture resident impressions and perspectives of District services.
The Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex Renovation Project was completed in 2021. This year will see four more playgrounds being replaced, bring the total up to 13 new playgrounds as a result of the 2018 referendum ask. Additionally, there will be many upgrades to Century Park as part of a successful grant application.
