Volunteer

Encouraging community involvement and assistance in the ongoing restoration of Bolingbrook Park District’s natural areas.

Applicants must be 16 years or older. Those under 18 must have parent consent to volunteer. Our volunteer program:

  • Provides volunteers with a positive and pleasant service experience while getting outdoors, giving back to the community and learning new skills.

  • Builds public awareness of the goals and values of Bolingbrook Park District.

  • Develops a greater connection between Bolingbrook Park District and its residents.

Volunteer Opportunities

The opportunities for volunteerism vary due to the time of year and services offered by the park district. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Support community wide special events.

  • Clean up outdoor properties owned by the park district.

  • Assist with paperwork or record keeping.

  • Conduct manual labor for the maintenance of the district’s parks and buildings.
